UK Delivery Rate Dashboard

Buy-side rates, ex-VAT · no margin applied
13 suppliers · LCL · FCL · Air · One Click · data as of 24 Oct 2026
Search UK final-mile delivery rates by destination. LCL/part-load and FCL are priced on completely different bases, so they're kept as separate modes — see the caveats at the bottom before quoting.

Shipment type

Air covers both directions — import delivery from the airport, and export collection to the airport (door → airport pickup only; this tool does not price the flight leg). LCL is priced per pallet or per weight/CBM band by the pallet networks and groupage hauliers. FCL is a whole-vehicle move priced on road miles from the port, so it uses a different supplier and a different rate card entirely. One Click covers the pallet-network trucking leg in and out of Think Prime’s Heathrow (LHR) air-freight handling agent — a separate, LHR-specific network, not tied to any sea port.

Step 1 — Goods condition & quantities

Pall-Ex and UPN cap tail-lift use at 1,000kg per pallet (including the pallet) — this only flags a breach, it doesn't price or block the rate.
Adds each network's own Amazon consignment surcharge to the rows that publish one — Palletways and Pall-Ex. UPN publishes none, so its row is flagged instead of priced.

Step 2 — Destination & service

Felixstowe covers Palletways/Pallex/UPN/Global Freight/Bridgap; Southampton covers only Riva South (TPN) so far. Only Palletways/Pallex/UPN/Riva publish a Premium tier — everyone else is standard-service only.

Notes & caveats — all modes

• All figures are buy-side (cost) rates, ex-VAT, with no margin applied — for sell pricing, add Think Prime's standard margin.
• LCL, FCL and Air are separate modes because they're priced on completely different bases. LCL is per pallet or per weight/CBM band across the six groupage suppliers; FCL is a whole-vehicle move from Proactive, priced on road miles from Felixstowe per container (0–500 mile card, £274 to £1,960), plus £25 VBS per container and £50 DVS per container inside the M25.
• Postcode matching uses the outward code only (area + district, e.g. "SW1" or "IP1") — it does not check inward-code-level exceptions.
• Cargo is entered as lines — one per piece size (LCL and Air) or container type (FCL) — and a consignment can mix several. LCL tiers each pallet line on its own height and weight, then prices every tier in the mix and sums them; Air sums all lines into one chargeable weight. Pallet tier is estimated from L x W x H and weight against CCC's published pallet spec sheet (Micro ≤150kg/60cm, Quarter ≤300kg/80cm, Half ≤600kg/120cm, Full ≤1,200kg/220cm, all on a 120x120cm base — confirmed against Pallex's and UPN's own pallet dimension tables) — treat as an estimate, especially for irregular or fragile cargo; confirm with warehouse/ops before booking. No rate is shown at all if weight, height or footprint exceeds these limits — Pallex and Palletways do sell a larger product above this (Pallex "Full Plus" 160x120cm, Palletways "XL") with real prices already loaded, but that size isn't wired into the pricing here yet, so it's treated the same as any other oversize piece: no rate, needs a manual quote.
• Source workbook: Think Prime UK Delivery Rates - Working - 2026-08-27 v4.xlsx (Raw sheets per supplier, Fitted Rates, 3-Way Comparison, Pallet Comparison tabs).

Notes & caveats — LCL / part-load

• Every row is costed identically: Base + Fuel + Palletising = Total. Base comes from the supplier's own tariff (per discrete pallet × pallet count for Palletways/Pallex/UPN/Riva; a weight/CBM band price for the whole shipment for Global Freight and Bridgap).
• Current per-carrier figures baked in: fuel — CCC 15%, Bridgap 19%, Global Freight and Riva not quoted; palletising — CCC £20/pallet, Bridgap £15/pallet, Global Freight and Riva not quoted. Fuel percentages are reviewed weekly by the carriers, so re-check them before quoting.
• Riva South (TPN) is new, added 16 Sep 2026 from their 2026 tariff (effective 30/03/2026) — 46 zones across Mainland UK, London, Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland, and it's the only supplier here quoted ex-Southampton rather than Felixstowe (Arisa confirmed the POD). Pick Southampton in the Arrival port box above to see it — every other supplier shows "not offered ex-Southampton" at that setting, and Riva shows the same "not offered ex-Felixstowe" at the default. Riva's fuel % isn't printed on their sheet at all, so it's deliberately left at 0% (base rate only) until confirmed — don't quote Riva live without checking current fuel first. Their published Tail Lift (£4/pallet), AM/PM (£17.50/con), Saturday before 13:00 (£55/con), Timed Delivery/BKSL (£25/con) and a flat £90 Southern Ireland customs surcharge aren't wired into the totals yet, same as the other suppliers' un-wired accessorials. No Amazon/FBA line published (same gap as UPN). Dublin and the rest of Southern Ireland are on Riva's tariff too but can't be looked up here — this tool zones by UK postcode, and Eircode addresses don't have one; Northern Ireland (BT postcodes) works normally. One postcode read as printed needed a likely OCR correction: zone 26's "P030-41" has been treated as PO30-41 (Isle of Wight) since "P0" isn't a real UK postcode area — worth a quick glance at Riva's own PDF to confirm. Riva's own Full pallet is rated to 1,250kg (vs the shared 1,200kg cutoff used everywhere else in this tool), so a 1,200–1,250kg pallet is blocked here even though Riva could genuinely still price it — a known small gap, not fixed this pass.
• Palletising is the carrier's charge, not ours, and only applies when cargo arrives loose. A supplier with no palletising figure is treated as not offering the service and drops out of the loose-cargo comparison entirely — currently that's Global Freight only.
• Pallet exchange at destination is assumed, so no pallet cost is charged on any row. None of the carriers has quoted a non-exchange pallet cost anyway; if a booking genuinely won't exchange empties, that cost sits outside these figures.
• Loose-carton volume assumes ~80% stacking efficiency on a 120x120cm base — real efficiency varies with carton shape and how well they nest.
• Chargeable weight for the weight-band suppliers uses the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight — Global Freight and Bridgap both publish weight bands and CBM bands side by side, and the worse of the two is taken.
• Palletways "LOCAL" zone, Pallex "LOCAL" zone and UPN zone 1 each charge a single flat rate with no Premium/Economy split, per their source tariffs — flagged inline where it applies.
• Youngs/Interspan (the ECU-tied combined product) is deliberately excluded — ECU has confirmed that rate is only bookable when the main ocean/air freight is also booked with ECU, so it isn't a standalone comparison point.
• Accessorials beyond the Step 3 settings and the Amazon/FBA checkbox (AM/timed/Saturday/customs, CCC's handball/timed charges) are not included — see the workbook's "Raw" tabs for the full accessorial schedules per supplier.
• Amazon/FBA warehouse delivery (the checkbox above the cargo lines) adds each network's own consignment surcharge, sourced from their current tariffs — Palletways tiers it by pallet count (1-4 pallets £20, 5-10 £30, 11+ £40; CCC 2026-2027 tariff p4), and Pall-Ex charges a flat £17.50 (Pallex Feb 2026-2027 tariff p3). UPN's own price list has no Amazon line at all, so its row is flagged rather than priced — don't assume it matches the others. Palletways also publishes an optional "Amazon Timed" service (+£25/consignment) that isn't wired into this tool; quote it manually if asked. Global Freight and Bridgap weren't part of this — the user's own supplier list for FBA delivery is Palletways, Pall-Ex and UPN. Amazon's own FBA pallet spec is also enforced — 100x120cm base, 1,000kg and 180cm max, tighter than any network's own limits — and is checked per pallet, separately from the network's footprint/weight/height check above. A pallet can be perfectly normal for the carrier and still fail Amazon's own spec (e.g. a network-legal 115x120cm or 1,100kg pallet): the carrier's own rate still shows, only the Amazon/FBA surcharge is withheld, with a note to confirm with Amazon before booking as FBA. For loose cartons, only the 1,000kg/pallet weight limit is checked automatically — footprint and height aren't modelled per synthetic pallet, so confirm those with ops before booking loose cargo as FBA.
• The Liverpool/Manchester rate pairing is still unconfirmed with the hauliers directly — see project notes.

Notes & caveats — FCL

• FCL distance is looked up from the delivery postcode — the postcode is resolved to coordinates and routed by road from the selected port, which should land close to a Google Maps driving distance. With no internet it falls back to straight-line distance × 1.25 and says so, and in every case the mileage box stays editable, with a typed figure always taking precedence. Beyond 500 miles Proactive's card stops and it's quote-on-request.
• FCL rate cards are held per port. Proactive confirm their card for Felixstowe, London Gateway and Southampton; Tilbury has no card yet. Other PODs will still work out the mileage so the lane can be priced the moment a card arrives, but they show no rate rather than borrowing Felixstowe's — port haulage rates don't travel between ports.
• Proactive's fuel surcharge is 24% for w/c 19 Oct 2026, applied to the mileage band rate (not to VBS or DVS). They review it weekly, so re-check before quoting.
• The Proactive card doesn't state whether the rate varies by container size (20'/40'/45') — it reads as a flat per-container price. Worth confirming before quoting a 45'.

Notes & caveats — Air

• Air delivery is a third mode. Heathrow and Manchester are separate cards with their own postcode zoning, weight breaks, formulas and fuel — the same postcode is often zoned very differently between them, so the airport selector matters. Heathrow: £8–£40 basic + 8p–40p/kg up to 500kg, then a flat heavy-weight band table to 5,000kg, plus a £35 import delivery surcharge, all × 20% fuel (the surcharge sits inside the fuel bracket, as printed). Manchester: £11–£38.50 basic + 9p–35.5p/kg to 200kg, a second table to 1,000kg, no import delivery surcharge, × 18% fuel. Above those ceilings, or on an "Ask" zone, it returns quote-on-request rather than extrapolating.
• UCH apply their own volumetric rule — 6m³ = 1,000kg (166.67 kg/m³) — which is not the 333.33 kg/m³ used by the LCL groupage suppliers. Chargeable weight is the greater of gross and volumetric.
• Air runs in both directions. Import is airport → UK address (the zonal delivery rate, plus Heathrow's £35 import delivery surcharge). Export is UK address → airport: the same zonal rate as a collection, plus Heathrow's £20 export collection surcharge, plus screening (see below), plus UCH's export warehouse handling at 3p/kg (min £15, capped £100). UCH screen all unknown cargo unless specifically told otherwise.
• Screening is priced automatically, at each supplier's primary rate, on every export quote — there's no menu to pick from, since with three suppliers each offering their own set of screening tiers a per-supplier dropdown became more confusing than useful. UCH Heathrow primary is 12p/kg (min £25); UCH Manchester primary is 10p/kg (min £12.50); Expressway primary is 6.5p/kg (min £10); Trilogy's XRAY screening is 6p/kg (min £10). Each supplier's other tiers (UCH secondary/screening-only/delivery-only, Expressway secondary, Trilogy ETD) are on their cards but not priced here — flag it if a shipment specifically needs one of those instead. The Screening column in the results shows the amount each supplier is actually charging. Expressway's book-in (handling) charge has been dropped from the tool entirely, since it only applies when goods arrive on another haulier, which isn't something this tool can know.
• On export, screening and warehouse handling sit outside the fuel calculation for every supplier — UCH's own notes state fuel does not apply to screening, warehouse handling or storage, and Expressway and Trilogy are calculated the same way here for consistency. Fuel applies to the transport leg and its collection surcharge only.
• Non-stackable, out-of-gauge, tail lift and HAZ are separate selections. Non-stackable prices with Expressway (£15 on their schedule) but returns no rate at all from UCH or Trilogy, both of whose cards assume stackable cargo throughout — their rows show the quotation-only note instead of a figure. Out of gauge suppresses all rates, because no supplier prices oversize cargo from a published card; it is also detected automatically from the dimensions entered, and Trilogy's own gauge limit is checked separately per zone (see below) since it's tighter than UCH's for some postcodes. Tail lift and HAZ are priced per supplier. Expressway: oversize or non-stackable £15, tail lift £25, HAZ aware £25, full ADR £50 (also AM/PM £15, timed 2-hour window £35, docs/labels £10 per set — not yet wired as options). UCH publish a £20 HAZ surcharge and, at Manchester only, £25 tail lift; non-stack, oversize and full ADR are quotation-only on their card, so the tool flags rather than prices them. Trilogy: tail lift £25 and HAZ aware £20 flat across all zones; full ADR is £25 but only in zones 6 & 7, POA everywhere else.
• Accepted piece size — UCH cover up to 200 × 120 × 170cm per piece; anything larger is "out of gauge" and needs a specific quotation. Manchester tightens this to 120 × 120 × 170cm for zones 8–10. The cargo step checks the dimensions you enter and flags a breach. Expressway stop quoting above 4,000kg and refer to their office. Trilogy accept 200 × 120 × 170cm for zones 1–7, tightened to 120 × 120 × 170cm for zones 8–12 — checked per zone once the postcode resolves, so the same piece can pass for a nearby zone and fail for a further one.
• Trilogy Freight (added 14 Sep 2026, source: their LHR tariff effective 1 July 2026): 0–500kg is a min + per-kg formula per zone (12 zones, colour-coded postcode index — ~274 outward-code ranges loaded); 501kg–5,000kg is a flat band table per zone, with zones 8–12 going POA above 2,250kg. Their fuel surcharge is confirmed at 18.07% (Trilogy, 14 Sep 2026) and is charged on every row. Trilogy calculate this live off diesel price — base band £1.00-£1.16/litre ex VAT, current £1.37/litre — so unlike a fixed weekly figure it moves with fuel prices; re-check trilogyfreight.com/fuel-surcharge/ periodically rather than treating 18.07% as locked in. Two entries in their own printed index don't parse as valid ranges (NE23-6 and NP10-8). Both zone numbers check out against Trilogy's own LHR Zone Map (NE23 sits in the Zone 7 patch, NP10 in the Zone 6 patch), so NE23 and NP10 specifically are now priced at Zone 7 and Zone 6; only the exact width of each range is still unconfirmed, so districts just either side of them (e.g. NE21/24, NP9/11) stay "not covered" unless already covered by another rule. A third (W10-9) has been read as the whole "W" area → Zone 2, matching how every other single-line area in their index is written, but is also worth confirming. Their screening (added 14 Sep 2026) is now priced automatically on export at their XRAY rate — see the screening bullet above; their card also lists ETD (10p/kg, min £45), Remote ETD (£75, 10p/kg), FREDDs (min £45, 15p/kg) and bundled "ALL INC" xray/secondary + handling rates, none of which are wired. Not wired as options (their own tariff has these, but they're additional to what's already tracked above): AM/PM, Early Closure, Timed 2-hour window, RA/KC SPX (£7), London Congestion Fee (£6, zones 1–2 only), and their separate depot-to-depot trunking table (LHR-MAN/GLA/ABZ/BHX/EXT) — see the source PDF for those.
• Pallet Force (EVCargo) — moved here from the LCL/part-load comparison (30 Sep 2026): it's an LHR-area pallet network for pickup and delivery around the air-freight leg, not a sea-port groupage service, so it belongs with Expressway and Trilogy rather than Palletways/Pallex/UPN/Riva. Quotes Heathrow only, same as Expressway and Trilogy, and drops out at Manchester. Unlike every other Air supplier here, it isn't priced off chargeable weight — it's priced by pallet tier and count, worked out from the same cargo lines (L×W×H×kg per line) using the same Micro/Quarter/Half/Full classification the LCL panel uses: a single pallet is priced by its own Qtr/Half/Full tier; 2–5 pallets are one flat consignment total off the tariff's own 2/3/4/5 columns rather than a per-pallet rate × count (this reading, especially for a mixed-size 2–5 pallet load, needs confirming with Pallet Force/EVCargo); 5+ pallets is that 5-pallet flat total plus a genuine per-pallet rate for each pallet above 5. Two rows are shown per postcode band — their published faster and slower service (usually 48hr/24hr; 72hr/48hr for the Channel Islands and Western Isles bands) — and their tariff has no direction-specific pricing at all, so the same rate shows on import and export. No fuel % is printed on their sheet, so it's left at 0% (base rate only) until Pallet Force/EVCargo confirm one. A couple of bands (PH8-13, and HS/KW15-17/ZE) are genuinely Price On Application for their faster service, shown as no published rate. One postcode reference (band 51's YO sub-range) printed cut off on the source PDF — inferred as YO7/21-22/60-62 from band 02's own exclusion wording, an inference rather than a printed figure. Surcharges per consignment (Before 10am £30, Before 12am £20, Saturday AM £75, Time Specific £25, Amazon £10, Book Window £10, Tail-Lift/Book-in FOC) and the three "Price and service on application" postcode groups (BT, Eire and GY9 Alderney & Sark offshore islands) aren't wired into the total, same treatment as every other supplier's un-wired accessorials.
• UPS Domestic (via FOX) — added 30 Sep 2026 from the "UPS Domestic - 2026" rate sheet (rate effective Jan 2026, LHR close-out 19:00hrs). Arisa confirmed (6 Oct 2026) that the rate is based on collection near LHR airport — FOX's own warehouse (the sheet also allows any UPS Access Point) — so it sits here with the other LHR suppliers rather than as its own mode, and shows on import only (a parcel leaving that warehouse; the sheet has no export/collection rate). Heathrow only, so it drops out at Manchester. It's a flat national rate with no postcode or zone, priced per piece: each cargo line's pieces × the weight band for one piece's chargeable weight, which is the greater of actual and volumetric (UPS's 1:5000 rule, L×W×H cm ÷ 5000). Bands run 5kg (£4.75) to 200kg (£44.76); above 200.5kg the sheet gives £0.25/kg, applied here to the whole chargeable weight (an assumed reading, not confirmed with UPS — rarely relevant since pieces are capped at 70kg). MRPP £4.75. Pieces over 70kg dead weight, 274cm long, or 400cm length+girth are not permitted in UPS's network and show no price. Fuel is unconfirmed (0%) — UPS's sheet says only "this month's Standard UPS published rate". Not added to the total, but flagged per piece when triggered: Large Package £59.30 (length+girth over 300cm, min chargeable 40kg), Additional Handling £12.70 (longest side over 100cm, second over 76cm, or over 25kg). Other reference-only charges: Over Maximum Limits £478, Undeliverable Shipments £6.50, Address Correction £10.80, Extended Area £0.77/kg or £39.50, Remote Area £0.95/kg or £47.00, Residential Delivery £1.95, Misc Handling £11.85, Shipping Charge Audit Fee £1.30/package or 8% of correction, Free Domicile Handling £18, Advancement Fee 5% (£15 min), NES Entries £15, Other Govt Agency Entry £14, Additional Tariff Line £3/line over 5, None Routine Formal Entry £15.50, Post Entry Clearance £53, refused-shipment fee £15, Storage £16/kg/day. Pre-09:00, Pre-12:00 and Saturday delivery are quotation-basis on the sheet.
• FRL (Front Runner Logistics) — added 24 Oct 2026 from the FRL tariff calculator (Daily Rates, Terms & Conditions) and its district-level postcode CSV. Daily service only (8am-6pm weekdays): 11 areas, rate = base + pence-per-kg in three bands (0-500, 501-1000, 1001-2000kg); anything heavier is a Special. Areas 1-5 next-day, 6-11 take 1-2 days. Chargeable weight is the greater of actual and 1,000kg per 6m³ (same as UCH). Fuel 20.75% as shown on their calculator (includes an emergency fuel surcharge, updated weekly) — applied to transport only on the basis that the calculator lists it against SUB TOTAL; worth confirming a live quote. Included automatically: £15 import collection on import, £50 out-of-gauge if a piece exceeds 130x130x170cm. Options: tail-lift £50 and limited DG £25. Not wired: 5hr window (£15-25) / 3hr window (£25-35), pre-midnight import collection (7p/kg, min £30), weekend import £50, £5 daily collection/return, £8 per pallet exchange, 3rd-party receiving 5p/kg (min £10), storage £12.50/100kg/day after 48hrs. Screening is not priced: FRL publish no screening or airline-delivery rate (quote via Screening@frontrunlog.co.uk), so on export the FRL row is transport only and will look cheaper than Expressway/Trilogy/UCH, which include screening — compare like for like before choosing. FRL also can't handle ETSF (per Arisa). FRL's own Information page still shows an older worked example and a £10 import-collection fee; the table (£15) and calculator were used. Non-stackable and full ADR return no rate. Postcodes the CSV marks OUT OF AREA (e.g. Scotland north of the central belt, Cornwall/Devon, most of Wales and Northern Ireland) show as outside the daily area.
• Still excluded: AM/PM and timed deliveries, waiting time, palletisation (£15/pallet), rework/breakdown on export (£0.06/kg + £10/pallet), and at Heathrow the £7/pallet charge where pallets can't be exchanged.
